Job Vacancy: Maternity Cover – Cleaner

Location: Farington Primary School, Rose Street, Farington, PR25 4GH
Hours: 20 hours per week (working pattern to be discussed with the successful candidate)
Contract Type: Temporary (Maternity Cover)
Closing Date: Wednesday, 11th December 2024

We are seeking to appoint a reliable, hardworking, and dedicated cleaner to join our site staff team to cover maternity leave. This role is vital to maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our school, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all of our children, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, and communal areas.

• Maintaining hygiene in washrooms and other facilities.

• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns to our site manager.

• Working as part of the wider site staff team to ensure the school is always in excellent condition and ready for learning.

What we’re looking for:

• A conscientious and reliable individual with a strong work ethic.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
